Hallo everyone, a Happy New Year to you all - doesn't time fly? We haven't finished with the old year yet, there are some reports of events that took place. I hope I'm not repeating what you already know as our usual team of intrepid newshounds are away catching some well earned sun.
Our November production was well received and the audiences came away full of smiles. Well done to the cast and producer. A few more bums on seats would not have gone amiss, we did make a small loss.
The presentation of our younger members played to a full house. The cast were outstanding and are becoming more confident and professional with every show. Well done folks. The evening was rounded off with carol singing. In addition we did unintentionally make a profit. Thanks to everyone for their effort.
Once again a thoroughly good meal was enjoyed by all. We really can't thank the cooks and helpers anough for the work they put in, but it's well worth it so don't stop. Who can forget the tear jerking rendition of 'Good King Wenceslas' by Tommy accompanied by Don as well as entertainment from Lynn, lionel and John.
A small but dedicated and sometimes sober band of members gathered at the hut for a highly amusing evening of carpet bowls. I can't remember who won, but we had a good time playing.
At Kingsford Country Park 7:00pm for 7:30pm start at a mind bending £1.00 per head. All ages are welcome and if you need a lift let someone know

Permission for our hut extension has been applied for.
Open auditions will be held Sunday 25th February at the hut.
