Alice In Wonderland And Through The Looking Glass

Sponsored Walk - Saturday May 25th

We are organising a sponsored walk to help raise money for the show. The walk, a mere 10 miles, will start from Hawkbatch Car Park (Dowles Road, Bewdley - approx 3-4 miles out of Bewdley) at 1 pm. It should take no more than 4 hours to complete the walk.
Please try to raise as much sponsor money as possible, this is one of our major fund-raising efforts towards the show. A prize will be awrded to the person who raises the most money.
If you have friends or family who would like to take part in the walk (on our behalf) additional sponsor forms can be obtained from Alan.

Bewdley Carnival - Saturday June 15th

We will be entering Bewdley Carnival again this year. We plan to get as many people as possible walking the route in costume - and handing out flyers. We will also have a stall on the carnival field. Meeting time for walkers will be around midday and will finish around 2 pm. We will keep the stall open until around about 5 pm.

Entertainment Quiz - Saturday May 18th

Alex and Alan are currently writing questions for a (fun) entertainment quiz which will be held at Stourport Swifts FC (behind leisure centre/swimming baths) - with questions on TV, films and pop music. Cost of entry is £2 adults / £1 under-18s. The bar will be open and food will also be vailabel at a small cost.
Please make an effort to come along (and maybe even bring a friend): the idea is to have teams of four people but you do not have to form a team beforehand, we can arrange teams on the night. This is designed to be a bit of fun - the questions will (hopefully) not be too difficult - the ideal "team" to win the quiz will probably include a mixture of all ages.
The quiz will start at 7:30 pm (finish approx 10:30)

Name the Rabbit

Also to help raise funds we are organising a "Name The Rabbit" competition.
It will cost £1 to choose a name for a stuffed (and very cute and loveable) white bunny wabbit. There are also cash prizes available.
More details on this will follow soon.

Mad Hatters Tea Party at the Safari Park - Saturday June 8th(??)

We are hoping to arange a Mad Hatters Tea Party at the Safari Park as a publicity exercise for the show; hopefully local press and possibly even TV will be in attendance.
This will feature members of the cast (in costume) holding a tea party somewhere in the park - the lions enclosure was considered, but we thought that Alex might frighten the lions, so we are likely to be using "pets corner" - possibly even with some animals in attendance.
More details on this event will be circulated as soon as possible.

Subs

A reminder that everyone involved in the show must pay their subs (£10 or £6 if under-18). This is a requirement of our insurance company... we cannot let anyone go on stage (or even actually be at the hut) unless they have paid their subs!
If you have not yet paid your subs, please get the money to Alan or Neil as soon as possible.

Tickets

Tickets for the show will be available soon. Use the ticket order form to book your tickets. Return all forms to Alan.

Flyer Distribution

We are also planning to distribute flyers advertising the show over the Bank Holiday weekend (June 1st - 3rd). More details on this will follow soon.
