Happy New Year Everyone

We have a good start to the new year with some good news.
The Alice donation of £500 will be given to a Senior Representative of Kemp House at the Christmas Buffet Party on the 18th January at 7:00. It is hoped through Kemp House it will be reported in the local press, so come along and support us. We have a definite price for the buffet of £5.00 per person, much cheaper than we thought. There will be a super Christmas Turkey Spread. In addition Neil has been overwhelmed, he doesn't know which way to facilitate. For your delight and titillation Don has promised to do a turn, Lionel and Brenda have prepared some games, Frankie and her friend will give us a musical rendition and Alan has guaranteed not less than twenty five minutes of unadulterated fun and frolics. Who could ask for more? COME ALONG AND HAVE A LAUGH, IT WILL BE A GOOD EVENING. Get in touch by return. I'm sure there were other people with entertainment offers but I can't remember who, so it gets better.
The other good news on Alice is that we made around £400 for ourselves, well done to everyone involved. We live to fight another day.

The Nearly St Valentine's Day Massacre

Hotshot Hollis aka 'The Fixer' needs a few Hoods and Molls to take part in the mystery play/evening. You don't have to learn any lines, you will have a script to tell you who you are and what you have done. Then everyone else will talk to you and try to work out your involvement. Please help by getting in touch with Peter, sounds exciting. Just to remind you, the Mystery Night is 7:30 at the hut on Saturday 15th February 2003, with nibbles, bread and soup for the princely sum of £2.50.

Summer Production

Auditions Wednesday 26th March 2003 7:30pm at the hut. The play is called 'Comfort and Joy' and revolves around a family at Christmas time. There are ten characters with age ranges from 14 to 70 years old. Everyone welcome, the more the merrier. If you don't want to act we are in need of producer, prompt, props person and back stage crew, so there is plenty for everyone to do.

Autumn Production

21st, 22nd and 23rd November 2003. Our 60th Anniversary production. We are considering a musical play that will involve everyone. If you have any ideas let us know please.

Ludlow

This year offers two plays: A Winter's Tale or Comedy of Errors and the date will be between 21st June and 13th July. The general consensus of opinion is to go to see Comedy of Errors, but we still do not have any dates.

The Hut

We are no longer looking for very tall people to help hold up the ceiling panels whil John and Andy fix them. The roof still leaks, so we need fairies to go up on the roof to find out what is wrong. We meet on Sunday 19th January at the Hut at 10:00am. Any help appreciated.

A theatre trip to Malvern (car sharing) If you are interested in any one of the plays, phone Peter or Brenda before the 20th January, that means now.
5th-15th March: Cooper. Not like that, like this £12 Life story of Tommy Cooper to music.
9th -12th April: Great Expectations. £8.50 Adapted for children, music and dance.
14th -19th April: Love and Marriage (Adam Faith) £12 A Donald Churchill comedy.
28th April - 3rd May: Noises Off £14 A farce about the disastrous goings on in a drama group.
