Comfort and Joy

The main news is that 'Comfort and Joy' is on next week 10th, 11th and 12th July. Please sell as many tickets as you can and come and support us. It is a very funny comedy by Mike Harding, the Yorkshire cowboy or is it the Wigan wrangler? I don't know. That's not important, what is important is that we get good audiences.

Autumn Production

Our autumn production will be 'Daisy Pulls it Off'. It has a cast of mainly young females, but there is a fair sprinkling of male and adult parts, so there is no need to audition in drag. It is a musical and promises to be good fun. Thanks Alan for your perseverance in searching for a play. Auditions will be Sunday the 13th July, ready for a September start.
The performance dates are: 21st, 22nd and 23rd November 2003.

Social Events

History: a group of us went to Ludlow to see 'The Merchant of Venice'. A group of us came back from Ludlow. Not very impressed. We could not hear everyone, they did not project. We wondered how Portia would cope with her main speech. They overcame it with her at a Judges Bench speaking closely into a microphone, not very impressive.

September 13th Horse racing and barbeque at the hut £2.00 to £3.00.
