Hello I'm back again with another newsletter. Firstly the happy news, we are having our name on a plaque that will be on a wall of tiles, in the Areley Kings New Village Hall. It means we will be part of the history of the village and will become community users. More good news is that ,once again, we are one of the groups chosen by the Stourport Inner Wheel to receive a donation of £50.00 and we thank them so much for their generosity. Another piece of good news is that Maggie Patten has been co-opted to the committee, she is already getting involved and being useful, well done Maggie and thank you.
Now the not so good news, we made a loss of £170.00 on Comfort and Joy, due in some part to the smaller audiences, but more because of the increasing costs of Performing Rights and costs in general. Further inroads into our funds are the increases in Council Tax and the rental of the garage, this really is having a serious effect on our bank balance. So much so that we wonder how much longer we can keep going. Our fund raising activities recently have not yielded much profit we need more people to attend. Also we could do with some fund raising ideas.
The Planning Inspectorate accept we may have a case and will examine our appeal, This could take a couple of months before we know the outcome.

In rehearsal Daisy is being performed excellently by our cast, but we do need to fill the theatre and get bums on seats. As we've already indicated, we need to make some money to re-coup our losses.
