Hi everyone, I`m glad to be back with the news and what good news it is. And Then There Were None, our first venture into Areley KIngs Village Hall, really was very successful from a few different aspects. The venue has a cosy, intimate feel to it. There could have been more shoulder space and we will allow for that next time. The audiences turned out in large numbers and appreciated our play, I think we surprised a few people. Money wise we, made a fair profit on our serious play for the first time in an age. The cast - need I say more? They and the producer were excellent, as were the dynamic trio who did front of house.
The Actathon, because of sad news affecting some members it was left to Alan, Jay and Chris to do the bulk of the reading. Ably helped by a whole crowd of people who popped in from time to time. The lads hope to have raised £200, thank you and well done lads.
Winnie the Pooh is still on course for our autumn production with auditions being held on 11th July BUT we NEED more young folk as a lot of our present members are in to their GCSE year and can't give us the time. Tell your friends to come along, that's how most of us started. Also for Pooh new ticketing offers will be introduced. Groups of ten or more will have seats reserved for them, but we will not be numbering seats, tickets will be for one particular night only. Groups will get every eleventh ticket free and anyone before 15th October 2004 will get a 10% discount, ie - prices being Adult £4.95 (£5,50) and concessions £3.60 (£4.00)

Friday 23rd July - Car Boot Sale at the Wobbly Wheel. We still need more more goods to sell get them to Brenda NOW. Get in touch if you have anything.
Saturday 21st August Barbeque at Lynn and Adny's. Note the Date. e-mail members we will get a menu to you as soon a possible. Lynn needs to know what food you want.
Friday 10th Sept Skittles at Kingsford country park, more to follow.
