Hello all you Stag members out there! Welcome to September’s Newsletter

First things first, an apology to those not in the 21st century and plugged into the matrix, I mean Internet, who did not get last month's newsletter, not sure what happened, all I know is they left work with the postman as usual with stamps on. Hopefully normal service has resumed. If not drop me an e-mail and let me know.

The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents is almost upon us, posters have sprouted up all over Stourport, and its environs due to the diligent work of Kathy Forty, and the cast, and the cast’s parents, well done, and thank you!

For those of you not fortunate to have seen the poster – it is at the end of the Newsletter, and contains all the information you require to sell hundreds of tickets (spot the author too lazy to write all the details down….).

The Next Production continues to provide a source of irritation to the Guild; the committee have as yet been unable to select a suitable script. The choices have ranged from the too technical (Charley’s Aunt) the un-funny (bird in the hand) and the “too much swearing” (Dice House) However we are confident that our search will bear fruit, and will keep you posted. We are considering another play reading night, but Alan must remember not to bring cheap drain cleaner disguised as cider to the next one.
